Type Fun's Top 200 Enchantments: Part VII

#185: Limited Resources
Limited Resources requires some finesse to use effectively. It affects all players and can, if not used appropriately, backfire on you. However, it is cheap and can completely wreck an opponent's mana supply. Combine it with land destruction to gain a big advantage in mana production. Combine it with artifact mana to break the symmetry of the effect. Combine it with cards that put lands directly into play so that you circumvent the clause restricting playing lands (using a card that puts a land directly into play is separate from playing a land). Whatever you do, this is one aptly named card. Just be sure that the resources that are being limited are your opponent's and not your own.

#184: Hecatomb
Like the already featured Living Lands, Hecatomb has the potential to make your lands into damage-dealing machines. But Hecatomb does a better job, ignoring things like blockers and Pyroclasm. At the end of your opponent's turn, hit him with Hecatomb using all of your untapped swamps. It can also clear away blockers or dangerous creatures, making it probably the most versatile enchantment on the list so far. Unfortunately, it only works with swamps. And although the mana cost is low, it comes with the hefty cost of sacrificing four creatures, something that could potentially cripple you around the same turns you want to start using Hecatomb (major card disadvantage). But token generators make this easy. Hint: use Sengir Autocrat.
